Blog Tour, Review & Giveaway - Enshrine by Chelle Bliss

Title: Enshrine
Author: Chelle Bliss
Release Date: January 26, 2016

EVERYTHING CHANGED IN AN INSTANT.

I thought I knew what was important, but one phone call sent my life into a tailspin. Alone and afraid, I cling to the one man I shouldn’t. I was warned about him and told to stay away. “He’s dangerous,” they said. But the man who could hurt me the most, gave me the greatest comfort. "He's not who they think," I told myself. But just like an illusion, things are never what they seem.

This is honestly one of the hardest books I have ever had to write up because I loved it that much. I want to tell you everything I loved even if it spoiled the story for everyone. But I won't, because I hate people who do that.

This book, knowing it was written by Chelle Bliss, was a no-brainier to review for me. I saw her name and signed up, didn't even read the description. So when I started reading, I was a little taken aback by the fact that it was so different from her other books—but in an awesome way.

I honestly fell in love with the characters and the story from the first chapter. And for me, having a book pull me in that quickly is a feat unto itself. It also left me with a HUGE hangover, but one I would suffer time and time again.

This is the part of the review where I typically list everything I loved or hated about a book, but as I said before if I did that, I would give it all away.

If you need more motivation to buy, Chelle, as always, is out of milk and needs to buy more.

Frustrating. Beautiful. Chaotic. Insane. Loving.

I’m not going to lie, there was a moment when my stomach dropped and I wasn’t sure I was going to make it through this book. My heart was breaking in two and I just couldn’t do it anymore. So I slowly put down my Kindle and walked away. I walked away because I needed a break. The words were so clear and concise, I became the fly on the wall watching and rolling through Callie and Bruno’s life with them. And, I just needed a break. I emailed my friend and asked should I just stop now before my heart was so broken I couldn’t put it back together again and she politely told me to trudge on through. It was worth all the tears and heartache.

Chelle, your words are beautiful poetry. The love that Bruno has for Callie is what love dreams are made of. So, thank you for sharing them with us.

“When going into battle, it’s good to have an ally who scares the sh!t out of everyone.”

—TRUTH! Oh my goodness, this actually made me laugh. Often I find myself wondering who would be willing to stand up for me if I can’t. Then I pick that person and tell them to be my bodyguard, so this hits home on so many levels.

“The appreciation for the light can never come without the darkness.”

—If you’ve never experienced darkness in your life, you never appreciate the light. YESSSSS!!! I love this hard. So hard, I could squeeze you! I will be adding this to my list of favorites!

Enshrine took me on a wild ride. A ride filled with love, tears, amazing truths and so much more. At the end I felt a need to live life, ask less questions, to just be me. My heart broke, fluttered and soared through this book. I don’t know that it will ever be easy to talk about or explain, except to say JUST READ IT!!! <3
