Review - Dirty Ride by Chantal Fernando

Title: Dirty Ride
Series: Wind Dragons MC #3.5
Author: Chantel Fernando
Release Date: February 8, 2016

From USA TODAY bestselling author Chantal Fernando comes a brand new Wind Dragons Motorcycle Club e-novella, full of sexy bad-boy bikers, strong heroines, and steamy romance!

Even by Wind Dragon Motorcycle Club standards, Irish was always a bit of a dark horse. Not one to confide his secrets, such as where he got that mysterious scar across his neck, he’s quick with his fists and even quicker to jump to the defense of his MC. But is he nimble enough to handle the woman he never saw coming? Or will she leave him with a matching scar across his heart?

Featuring scorching hot chemistry and plenty of sass, Dirty Ride is sure to rev your engine and get you immediately hooked!

Dirty Ride was a quick, fast-paced read that will leave you wanting more! I am hooked on the Wind Dragons MC series and was excited to see Irish get his own book, even though it is a novella. I think Ms. Fernando made the short length work for their story even though I wish it could have been longer because they are great characters.

Irish is a part of the Wind Dragon MC, and he is definitely a bad boy biker with a soft side. When he meets Valentina in a bar, he knows he can’t just let her walk out and not see her again.

Valentina is running away from a bad life and ended up across the country and in Irish’s neck of the woods. Meeting him wasn’t planned and she was going to stay away from men, but the attraction and his persistence was too strong.

Irish and Tina had great chemistry. They do fall fast, so if instalove isn’t your cup of tea, you may not enjoy this book. I loved how Irish was very protective of her and made sure he kept her safe no matter the cost.

I really liked this book. The ending had me feeling like we may get more from this couple in the future, whether it’s another novella or something comes up in someone else’s book, but I feel that there is more yet for the author to tell about these characters. This series is great and I am ever so patiently waiting to read Rake’s book next.
