Review - Tap by Georgia Cates

Title: Tap
Series: Lovibond #1
Author: Georgia Cates
Release Date: January 11, 2016

Craft beer and the sexy men who brew it.

A faceless name. That’s all she was when I agreed to play a part in deceiving her. But then the unplanned happened.

We met. And all I wanted from her was a dirty weekend . . . until that wasn’t enough and I longed for so much more.

Lawrence Thorn suddenly means the world to me. And that’s a problem. She’s my business partner’s sister. Forbidden fruit. Pursuing her can mean trouble for me at Lovibond Brewery. But I don’t care.

I yearn for her skin against mine.
I crave her smell on my body.
I want to make her laugh and then hear her moan my name.
And she does for a brief moment in time.

But Lawrence wants more than I’m able to give. And it’s a damn shame because there’s no one on earth I want more than her.

An epic love.
A miserable ending.
Unless it’s not.

Beer. Hot boys. Accents. Best friends. BEARDS!!! What more can a girl ask for? When Georgia Cates writes it, nothing!!

I’m falling on my knees for Tap. Tap, Stout and Porter run Lovibond, a local brewery which is taking off. A huge local event of beer brewers is coming to their town and they’re sponsoring it. Then Stout runs into to trouble and steps away for a bit, and Tap meets Lawrence...

The saddest discovery you can ever make is realizing you’ve fallen truly, madly, and deeply in love with a dream that will never be.

This book isn’t just fun and best friends protecting someone. It’s chemistry, love, feels and more. There were moments I wondered if my eyes would leak and then just as quick I was laughing hysterically. The chemistry between Tap and Wren can’t be quenched by a cold beer or two. I totally love the banter between the two of them.

The development of Lovibond and the characters is amazing and fun! I can’t wait to read more of the story. Scot, Bridgette, Warren and Porter have so much more to tell us.

The blurb had me at craft beer and sexy men, and oh my lawd, was Lucas a sexy bearded hunk!!

Due to Lucas’ past, he doesn't do relationships. But when his eyes spot Lawrence (Wren) he's a goner, and knows some rules are meant to broken—even if it's just for a bit. He never thought in his wildest dreams that Wren would make him want/feel things that brought him heartache, yet he's conflicted and scared, wondering if he can even offer her what she truly deserves!

Lucas most definitely catches Wren's attention. Their chemistry is off the charts and Lucas's R-rated thoughts of even the simple things Wren does, like sipping the beer, has his mind in the gutter!

Learning about Lucas's past had me tearing up and wanting to hug him and tell him everything would be different this time. All he had to do is give what they had a chance!!

I love Georgia Cates' work and she keeps getting better and better! I'm looking forward to Stout's story and seeing who can tame him!

Lawrence Thorn

My eyes follow Brou as he leaves the bench and walks away. Sheez. His ass looks great in those jeans. And it looks pretty great not in those jeans too.

I can’t believe I had my hand wrapped around his cock.

I can’t believe he came in my hand.

I can’t believe he stood in front of me naked from the waist down.

I can’t believe he touched me with his fingers between my legs and then sucked them. Fuck. That was hot.

No one has ever made me come so hard in all my life. Brou gives quality orgasms. I can’t wait to have another.

Georgia Cates resides in rural Mississippi with her wonderful husband, Jeff, and their two beautiful daughters. She spent fourteen years as a labor and delivery nurse before she decided to pursue her dream of becoming an author and hasn’t looked back yet.

When she’s not writing, she’s thinking about writing. When she’s being domestic, she’s listening to her iPod and visualizing scenes for her current work in progress. Every story coming from her always has a song to inspire it.
